I was looking through some of the archived posts
for the group and it looked like some people were going out looking for boxes
almost every weekend. As I looked at the listing of boxes around me, I
realized that I would burn through all the boxes in this area (Southern
California) in a month or two if I went out every weekend.
I went to the letterboxing.org site and, just for
kicks, took a look at the New England area. Yikes! In Connecticut
alone, there are over 900 boxes! Throw in Rhode Island and Massachusetts
and that adds almost 600 more!!! Now I see why people can go out every
weekend and find new boxes!
<sigh> It's going to take me a LONG
time before I can reach the 500 FPX level. I better hurry and start
planting boxes!

Of course right now I am looking out my window watching tons
of snow fall from the sky AGAIN dreaming of all the boxes hidden deep beneath
the hard ice and snow. Not only that but I have boxes waiting to out into the
world but all the great hidding spots are hidden with snow too!
Expecting another 6 to 8 inches of snow in Connecticut
today,
Irish Tinker

You know you have it real bad when you start planning your vacations
to get more letterboxes (instead of just getting some letterboxes
while on your vacation). Did that make sense?
